Rail Force One Germany, based in Duisburg, specializes in freight transport with our reliable train drivers and high-performance trains, ensuring that cargo arrives safely at its destination.

We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team. With our modern locomotives, we serve industrial sites throughout Europe. Our focus is on operating safely and to a high standard around the clock.

 

Tasks:

  • You monitor and control the operational deployment of our locomotives, wagons, and personnel in national and international freight transport

  • You coordinate and order train paths in close consultation with internal and external partners

  • You monitor ongoing rail operations and all train movements in real time

  • You coordinate measures in the event of operational disruptions such as line closures, accidents, or extraordinary events and ensure safe operations

  • You proactively inform customers about delays, cancellations, or schedule changes and develop practical alternative solutions

  • You ensure compliance with all safety regulations, operational requirements, and quality standards

  • You work closely with internal departments such as maintenance, engineering, and human resources, as well as with international partners

  • You ensure a structured and complete shift handover

  • You carefully document timetables, operational changes, disruptions, and performance indicators

  • You use and maintain rail-specific IT and dispatching systems for planning, monitoring, and evaluating operations

Job requirements

Your profile:

  • You already have experience in rail freight transport or dispatching

  • Good knowledge of rail-specific processes is an advantage

  • You have strong organizational skills, are decisive, and have a high sense of responsibility

  • You enjoy working in a team, are structured, and can set priorities

  • You are resilient and flexible—even when things get hectic

  • You have good written and spoken English skills and a basic knowledge of MS Office

  • You are willing to work in a 3-shift system
