Track Manager in Rail Transport

Rail Force One Germany, based in Duisburg, specializes in freight transport with our reliable train drivers and high-performance trains, ensuring that cargo arrives safely at its destination.

We are looking for an experienced Track Manager to join our team. With our modern locomotives, we serve industrial sites throughout Europe. Our focus is on operating safely and to a high standard around the clock.

Your responsibilities:

• You will create and optimise train tracks and timetables, taking into account operational and economic requirements

• You will plan and coordinate works on the rail network

• You will be responsible for planning service facilities (e.g. sidings, terminals)

• You will create and maintain work instructions and process documentation

• You will carry out invoice checks and review train path invoices

• You will coordinate ad-hoc services and short-notice transport requests relating to train paths

• You will be responsible for documenting and reporting relevant key figures and processes

• You will communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. infrastructure operators, service providers, authorities)

• You will handle claims relating to train paths, including the review, assessment and follow-up of claims

Your profile:

• You have several years’ experience in rail freight transport, ideally in train path management or timetable planning

• You have knowledge of the relevant regulations and processes in railway operations

• You work in a structured, meticulous and independent manner

• You are a team player and possess strong communication and coordination skills

• You are resilient and flexible

• You have fluent German and good written and spoken English
